On October 18, Glades Middle  was chosen by The Tommy Hilfiger Corporation  to work with our special needs population through our Visual Arts teacher, Cathi Rivera. Eleven students were selected to work with American artist, Jenny Andrews - Anderson who taught them how to create paintings using different techniques. Each student made several personal paintings on small canvases and then painted on three large wooden hearts. Student's art is currently part of a large exhibit for Art Basel  in Miami Beach.
