(Assistant Principal of ELL / Discipline / Team Leaders / Building)

As the newest addition to the administrative team I want to share with the Glades Middle School community (students, teachers, parents and neighbors) some of my impressions and working goals.  In the little time I’ve been here I’ve observed that there are many factors that contribute to Glades Middle being an outstanding school, but most of all I am impressed with the “pursuit of excellence” that is shared by all that are associated with this school. My main goal is to learn from all of you what has made Glades Middle the high achieving school that it is and build on that. As an Assistant Principal I will lead by example and set high expectations for myself, students, teachers and parents to further our achievements.

I look forward to working together and supporting you in the work ahead of us.

An Artist, and an Administrator

It is with great pleasure that I welcome all students, faculty, staff, and parents back to our school for this 2007 – 2008 school year. I also take this opportunity to congratulate those of you that worked so diligently last year. It is because of your continuous dedication and commitment that our school continues to be one of the most successful middle schools in the district.

In addition to being an instructional leader, I will be supervising school-wide discipline, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), building maintenance, security, custodial, activities, fine arts, and sports. We have an excellent team of qualified individuals in each of these areas ensuring that every stakeholder is given every opportunity to succeed and enjoy an atmosphere that is safe, clean, and conducive to teaching and learning.

We had a wonderful year last year. I am confident that with the continuous support and dedication from students, faculty, staff, and parents, this year will be even more successful.

Thank you for all you do at Glades! Go Gators!

Elieser B. Siles
